Harmony HypnoBirthing Class. The Mongan Method.

An alternative to traditional prenatal classes.

With instructor Penny Scott
RN, RCH, RCCH (Cand.), HypnoBirthing® Instructor, Fertility Consultant

HypnoBirthing® classes teach women to utilize their natural birthing instincts allowing them to relax and work with their bodies to achieve a calm, safe and comfortable birth. Mothers-to-be will learn to call upon their birthing body’s natural relaxants (endorphins) and lessen or even eliminate birthing discomfort and labour pain.

When a woman is properly prepared for childbirth and her mind and body are in harmony, nature is free to function in the same well-designed manner that it does with all other creatures.

Hypnobirthing teaches birth partners to protect the birthing experience  allowing them to be part of the process by assisting the mother to maintain her relaxation and comfort.

HypnoBirthing® classes are not only for birth, they teach valuable skills that can be utilized throughout life.

“My dream is that every woman, everywhere, will know the joy of a truly safe, comfortable and satisfying birthing for herself and her baby”.
- Marie Mongan

“We must understand that childbirth is fundamentally a spiritual, as well as a physical achievement…. The birth of a child is the ultimate perfection of human love”
- Grantly Dick-Read, 1953
