About the Clinic

The Birth Tides Clinic is located in a newly renovated character home in the historic Old Orchard District of Downtown Courtenay. The clinic is surrounded by a lovely, quiet perennial garden and orchard and has a comfortable, casual and peaceful ambience. It is a good place to have a cup of tea, browse our lending library for books and DVDs, or check out the ‘sharing trunk’ for some gently used baby clothes. The clinic is close to public transportation, shopping on the main street of town, labs, and healthcare services. Children, families and friends are welcome to visit. The clinic offers specialty classes, lectures, events, and other services to enhance your childbearing year.

Open House is held every other Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon for anyone interested in our services and to give moms and babes who have previously been in our care a chance to drop by for a cup of tea and to visit their midwives. Please contact us for details.
